SAVE MONEY WITH KIDS HAVEN CONSIGNMENT SALES - FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES POSSIBLE!

Q & A's About Kids Haven Franchises

Note:  This is a draft document.
This will be updated with the actual information when we iron out all the legalities of franchising.

What is the franchise fee and what are the ongoing royalties?
We want it to be easy for you to start your own business so we made Kids Haven franchises very affordable!  The Kids Haven franchise fee is only $#,### and royalties are only 2.5 percent of each sale's gross sales so your start-up costs are very low.  If you've looked into other franchise opportunities you'll see that both of these amounts are considerably less than average franchise fees and royalties.

What does the franchise system include?
You will be amazed what comes with your franchise fee!  You will not only be authorized to use the Kids Haven name, trademark, marketing ideas and operating procedures, but will also be provided with everything you will need to start and manage your own children's and maternity consignment event in the efficient and accountable manner which have become the hallmarks of a Kids Haven event.  When we are ready to announce the availability of Kids Haven franchises, you will be able to Click Here for a complete list of what is included with your franchise fee.

How large are the territories?
Kids Haven territories are intended to be convenient for consignors and shoppers and rewarding for franchise owners.  Franchises draw their consignors, helpers and customers primarily from the area within 25 miles of the municipality in which they are franchised.  That establishes each Kids Haven franchise with a territory of nearly 2,000 square miles.

Do I need to live in the territory where I hold my Kids Haven Event?
Kids Haven Inc. requires that at least one of the owners live within the area in which the event will be held. Your success depends on building a core group of customers and consignors within your area. Being involved in your community is a key to your success.

How much money can I make from a Kids Haven Event?
The Federal Trade Commission will not let us make any earnings claims to prospective franchisees. Therefore, we rely on our franchisees to supply you information on this subject and, with some effort on your part, you can put together a fairly accurate estimate. Since this business is event based and only happens twice yearly, this will be supplemental income in the beginning but can easily turn into full time income with time and growth. The opportunities, here, are determined by you and the effort you put into the event.

How many hours does it take to put an event together?
On average, a typical sale takes 6 - 8 weeks of planning and preparation which can be done around other activities in your life. The larger your event grows, the more time and energy it will take and the more money you can make.

Do I need to have experience to own a Kids Haven franchise?
Yes, but not necessarily in consignment events. Kids Haven searches for candidates with exceptional dedication, good organizational skills, and reasonable computer literacy.  A background in retail sales is definitely a plus but anyone who enjoys working with the public and who has dedication and commitment can be a good candidate.

What do I need to do when I am fully prepared to own a Kids Haven franchise?
Contact  Angela@Kids-Haven.com to start the process.  If you're serious about owning a Kids Haven Franchise, you will be asked to fill out an application and sign a non-compete agreement.  Please give complete and honest answers.  We take every application seriously, and any typos, blanks, or incomplete answers may delay processing your application.  The non-compete agreement simply says that you can not take this information and start your own competing event.  You will also sign a confidentiality agreement as well as a document that will allow us to verify the information you provide.  Help yourself by doing the best job you can.  Good Luck!
